Well if only it was that easy to get people to use the site- The old saying you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make it drink. This is one of the major challenges of this site, advertising and making sure those who become users are committed to the site and will keep in contact so the community benefits from user participation. I think I have made it clear in emails and in terms and conditions only join us IF you will commit to being an active member as we do not want ghost profiles.
So in my drive to help re enforce this I have added a new compulsory field in the user profile asking users to indicate their intended use this current month. I ask this is kept updated so we all know for example if your aware on holiday and wont be around you can show that so we all know. Equally if a users sends a private message to another , they will know the expected time it will take to get a reply. I am hoping this will improve the communication and expectations of each other.
In view of the above can I ask all members to fill in the section in your profile to get this going –
Another step I am looking at apart from advertising steps, if to make the FREE MEMBERSHIP PLAN OFFER available ONLY to those who have logged in for at least once in 3 weeks. I ask myself having invested my time and energy in this project , why do I give free access to people who actually do not value the opportunity they have been given, and make use of it. So I may change this shortly I will keep you posted – also feel fee to reply or message me with your thoughts and suggestions – Thanks
